Business Development Series "Noontime Trade"

Join us for “Noontime Trade” on March 23, 2018 where two doctors from Mercy Hospital will be discussing the new high blood pressure guidelines, cardiovascular health, stress and how to best manage these topics in the workplace. There will be a free Blood Pressure screening available as well for attendees. “Noontime Trade” will be at the Merrill Memorial Library from 11:45AM to 1:00PM and a lunch option will be provided.
Dr. Michael Duffy, MD
Dr. Duffy has been with Mercy since March of 2010. He is originally from Andover, Massachusetts, where much of his family still resides. He graduated from Albany Medical School before heading out west to complete his residency training at the University of Wyoming Community Health Center in Casper. After completing his residency, Dr. Duffy joined Family Health Services in Twins Falls, Idaho where he practiced for more than six years, the last two as medical director. Dr. Duffy went to New Orleans for ten weeks after Hurricane Katrina, where he helped establish a mobile medical service that is still in operation today. Medically, he is passionate about indigent care and emergency preparedness. In his spare time, you might find Dr. Duffy exploring Maine with his wife and two sons in their 1972 VW bus, or you might see him on Casco Bay where he and the boys trap lobsters from their rowboat.
Erin Piontek, MD
Dr. Piontek received her medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at University of Missouri Family Medicine. Prior to joining Mercy, Dr. Piontek worked as a Family Medicine Physician at Mercy Hospital St. Louis and Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She enjoys seeing all ages, but is particularly interested in pediatrics and adolescents. She also enjoys women's health. She is originally from St. Louis, MO, but relocated to Yarmouth due to her husband's change of job. She has twins at home, age six. When not at work, Dr. Piontek enjoys playing golf and spending time with family.
